A wing that follows the lower lash line towards the temple.

  5. 5

A bold, sharply lined lip; blot and repeat.

For weddings, galas and photos

The event look is designed to look great in person and in photos: a shimmering shadow on the lid, a deeper shade in the crease, a sharp wing and a statement lip. It's makeup that has to survive long hours, hugs and flash photography.

Tips

  • Use an eye primer and set your T-zone with powder.
  • Draw the wing with your eyes open, especially if you have hooded lids.
  • Choose a long-wear lipstick and line it.
  • Pack your lipstick, a little powder and cotton buds.

For a daytime wedding, you can tone down the lip and keep the wing.
