Free online colour analysis: find your season

Find your colour season from one photo. The analysis runs entirely on your phone: your photo never leaves it.

💡 For a reliable result, take the photo in natural light, facing a window, without makeup

🔒 Your photo is processed only on your device. It is never uploaded or stored.

Intended for adults. Don't upload photos of other people without their permission, or of minors.

The four seasons

What is colour analysis?

Colour analysis groups people into seasons (spring, summer, autumn and winter) based on three traits: skin undertone (cool, warm or neutral), depth (light, medium or deep) and contrast between skin, hair and eyes. Each season has a palette of colours that harmonise with those traits and make the face look brighter and more rested.

How our test works

  1. Sampling. We take skin patches from the cheeks and forehead, avoiding shine and shadows, and compute their median colour. Eye colour comes from the iris landmarks, and hair colour from a segmentation model that tells hair, skin and background apart.
  2. Light correction. We use the white of the eye as a white reference to compensate for the light in the photo; if it isn't clearly visible, we use the image average.
  3. Calculation. Depth comes from the individual typology angle (ITA), undertone from the ratio between the red and yellow components of your skin colour, and contrast from the difference in lightness between skin, hair and eyes.
  4. Optional questions. Three questions about veins, metals and sun fine-tune the undertone.

The whole analysis happens on your device. Your photo is never uploaded, and your season, if you save it, stays only in your browser.

Frequently asked questions

Is an online colour analysis test reliable?

It's indicative. With a good photo (natural light, facing the camera, no makeup) the result is stable, but lighting has a big influence. That's why we give you a confidence level and let you choose your season manually.

Why do different photos give me different seasons?

Because light changes the colour the camera records. If the test warns you about poor lighting, retake the photo facing a window.

What do I do with the result?

Look at your palette, your ideal shades from the catalogue and the looks. In the try-on, the shades that suit you are marked with a star.
